Organizations Filed Purposes: The Smith County Youth Expo exists to promote agricultural sciences and provide students with a real-life educational experience that will further prepare them to be the next agricultural generation.

The Smith County Youth Expo hosts an annual youth livestock show for area students involved in Future Farmers of America and 4-H. The students have the opportunity to exhibit shop projects they have created, and livestock they have raised and/or purchased, including but not limited to heifers, steers, barrows, rabbits, roosters, goats, and lambs. All submitted projects are judged, and the expo also includes a live auction, livestock clinics, and an opportunity to interview for scholarships. approximately 223 Smith County students participated in the 2019 Expo.
