Organizations Filed Purposes:
THE CORPORATION IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS ON JUNE 22, 2003, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING AND OPERATING AN APARTMENT COMPLEX OF 13 UNITS IN CARRIZO SPRINGS, TEXAS. THE CORPORATION WILL OPERATE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 202 OF THE NATIONAL AFFORDABLE HOUSING ACT AND BE REGULATED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) WITH RESPECT TO RENTAL CHARGES AND OPERATING METHODS. THE PROJECT'S MAJOR PROGRAM IS ITS SECTION 202 CAPITAL ADVANCE AND PROJECT RENTAL ASSISTANCE. THE PROJECT HAS EXECUTED A CAPITAL ADVANCE AGREEMENT WITH U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD), WHICH REQUIRES THE UTILIZATION OF THE PROJECT PURSUANT TO SECTION 202 FOR A MINIMUM OF 40 YEARS. THE PROJECT ENTERED INTO A RENTAL ASSISTANCE CONTRACT WITH HUD PURSUANT TO SECTION 202. UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS ARE MADE ON BEHALF OF ELIGIBLE FAMILIES.
