Organizations Filed Purposes:
TO DEVELEP CAPABLE, CONFIDENT YOUNG WOMEN, PROVIDING THEM WITH OPPORTUNITES TO ATTEND COLLEGE AS ELITE ATHLETES AND AS RESPONSIBLE YOUNG ADULTS. WE DO SO BY HELPING THEM DEVELOP THE SOFTBALL SKILLS TO EARN ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS AND BY PROVIDING ACADEMIC TUTORING AND LIFE SKILLS.
IN 2018, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED FOUR SOFTBALL TEAMS WITH AN AVERAGE OF 15 GIRLS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 14 - 18 ACCESS TO NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED COACHES IN A SAFE AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT, WITH STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITIES TO PREPARE THEM TO COMPETE AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO HELPS GIRLS BETTER PREPARE FOR COLLEGE BY PROVIDING INDIVIDUALIZED, ONE-ON-ONE ACADEMIC TUTORING SESSIONS IN MATH, SCIENCE, AND LANUGUAGE ARTS, AS WELL AS, ACT/SAT PREP COURSES TO ALL PLAYERS. FOR EVERY THREE HOURS OF PRACTICE, THE GIRLS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ONE HOUR OF ACADEMIC TUTORING.
