The Agape Clinic's mission is to provide quality health care services unconditionally to underserved people.
Agape Clinic accomplishes its mission by providing basic primary medical care, chronic disease management, dental care and acute care. In 2019, the Clinic provided 17,938 medical visits. In addition to primary care, the Clinic offers the following specialty services: women's health, neurology, pediatrics, dermatology, asthma and allergy, ophthalmology, limited counseling services, and complete dental care as well. The Clinic also manages patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, allergy/asthma, and hypertension. The Clinic's patients do not qualify for other charity medical services and their only option is to self-pay for medical care.
The Agape Clinic accomplishes its mission by providing primary medical care, specialty medical services and dental care. Acute care and illness as well as routine physicals, and chronic disease management are addressed in our primary care services. Specialty services include women's health, neurology, pediatrics, dermatology, asthma and allergy, ophthalmology, pediatrics, counseling services and endocrinology. Through a collaboration with Texas A & M College of Dentistry, the Agape Clinic provided 4,506 dental visits and 13,432 medical visits were performed. The Agape Clinic provided over 8 million dollars of medical care to the community at 1/8 the cost. Through partnerships with educational institutions, over 100 medical volunteers and a dedicated staff the Agape Clinic strives to heal those in our community suffering without access to quality medical services. The Agape Clinic's patients typically do not qualify for other charity health services, are uninsured or are under insured and their only option is to self-pay for care which is cost prohibitive for those living near or below the poverty line.
