The ALS Association of Texas is dedicated to providing quality local care, investing in research, and advocating for people with ALS and their families. In 2019, the Organization assisted 1,247 ALS patients, including 494 home visits and providing equipment loans. Three new multidisciplinary ALS clinics were added, bringing the statewide total to 7, and there were 51 active clinical trials across the state. Over $100,000 in grants were awarded to cover disease-related expenses. The ALS Association of Texas continues to grow, expanding access to crucial care and working to create a world without ALS.
