RAINBOW ROOM - is an emergency resource center so that Dallas County Child Protective Services caseworkers may offer tangible help to families in need. This store has everything from clothing to blankets, diapers to shoes, hygiene products to home cleaning products. All products are available for caseworkers to bridge the gap for children who come into protective care with nothing more than the clothing on their backs. These services and products are provided without regard to the families served ability to pay. 11630 children were served by the Rainbow Room in 2019.
KIDS-IN-CRISIS - This program helps children served by Child Protective Services for needs not met in other ways. Kids in Crisis meets many categories of need transportation, housing, enrichment activities, clothing, therapy, emergency needs and medical expenses. 6,745 children were served by Kids-in-Crisis program in 2019.
