To provide scholarships for high-school and college students pursuing a career in the visual communications profession.
The Annual National Student Show and Conference - Brings students from all over the nation together for a competition of visual communications and a 3 day conference. Our goal is to educate and inspire the future of the creative industry and reward the best work through scholarships and awards. We gave away $18,183 in scholarships and awards. There were about 881 entries of work for judging. Through the conference we hope to attract the best visual communicators to Dallas after graduation and help grow the membership of the organization over time. 0 tickets were purchased for this show as it was cancelled due to Covid, but judging still took place.
Golf Tournament - The 2020 DSVC DREAM Drive golf tournament had the following: 10 Golden Tee 4 at $600, 7 4-somes at $500, 5 2-somes at $250, 2 singles at $150, 9 cornhole teams at $50, 10 single Green Egg tickets at $50, 3 3for100 Green Egg tickets, 6 mulligans at $10, 37 drinkcups at $25, 14 Ball cannons at $10, 41 bonus packages at $25, and 10 buy-ups at $10. The proceeds after expenses was divided equally between the DSVC Foundation and the Dream Fund.
Fall Classic & Bike Event - Presented by Clampitt Paper in October 2019. 23 Tickets were sold to members at $40 per ticket, and 3 tickets were sold to non-members at $55 per ticket. This event was not held in 2020.
