Organizations Filed Purposes: WITH AN IMPASSIONED HEART FOR ORPHANS, VILLAGE OF HOPE (VOH) RESCUES THE LIVES OF FORMER CHILD SOLDIERS, SEX SLAVES, AND OTHERS ORPHANED BY WAR. VOH PROVIDES A SAFE HAVEN FOR HEALING AND HOPE FOR A FUTURE. OUR APPROACH IS DESIGNED TO PREPARE AND INSPIRE VOH YOUTH TO BECOME PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS, ETHICAL LEADERS AND BEACONS FOR CHRIST WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITIES AND COUNTRY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY OUR OUTREACH MINISTRIES OF FOOD, EDUCATION, COUNSELING AND MICRO-ECONOMIC PROJECTS IN NEARBY GULU'S FORMER IDP CAMPS. TWO RESIDENTIAL VILLAGES OF HOPE PROVIDE LOVING HOMES, PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT, MEDICAL SERVICES, ONSITE SCHOOLS/VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND SOLUTIONS FOR SYSTEMIC POVERTY AND HOPELESSNESS AMONG UGANDA'S MOST VULNERABLE CHILDREN.

Village of Hope rescues the lives of former child soldiers, sex slaves, child mothers, siblings and other vulnerable children.

Bweyale Village provides housing, food, education/vocational training, counseling, medical care and spiritual discipleship to 207 orphaned youth. Village of Hope Uganda Secondary School has graduated 111 youth since our opening. Village of Hope Uganda Vocational School has graduated 109 youth since opening in 2015 with 87% of those graduates employed and self-sustaining today. Our Secondary School provides students a comprehensive education in which all students learn a vocational skill in addition to academics and life skills. Bobi Village - provides housing, food, education, counseling, medical care and spiritual discipleship to 345 orphans of primary school age. More than 170 children have completed primary education at Village of Hope Uganda Primary School since our opening in 2014.

Gulu Ministry Operation provided food relief and counseling to 300 orphans; school fees for 60 primary and lower secondary day school orphans, 28 advanced secondary boarding school and university/higher education tuition for 55 orphans. Also provided counseling and training for 500 guardians of orphans. Five VOH youth have completed higher education programs and are working in their fields. Three have returned to Village of Hope Uganda as staff members to pour into other orphans - one is teaching in our primary school, one is teaching in our secondary school and the third is interning as a counselor at our primary school.
