Organizations Filed Purposes:
To provide moral and financial support to the band program, promote and maintain community support, and develop and implement fundraising projects to provide for the financial needs of the Denton High School band program.
The general band program provides year round support for 100+ band members. Revenue is used for band supplies, equipment, quality instruction, travel, meals for students at football games and marching competitions, judging, marching shows, and props. Band Booster members volunteer for all events and provide donations and engage in fundraising as they help students with props, chaperoning, and equipment.
The colorguard-winterguard program provides support for 20+ members to attend various competitions, show design, and props. Booster members volunteer for all events as they chaperone and help with students, transportation, props and equipment. Revenue is also used to provide contractor compensation for instruction as well as uniforms, equipment, and meals.
The jazz band program provides support to 50+ students to provide support for concerts and festivals. Revenue is also used to support the program through equipment, travel, and quality instruction. Booster members volunteer for all events as they chaperone and help with students, transportation, props and equipment.
