Organizations Filed Purposes: United Medical Centers is a TJC Accredited Community Health Center whose mission is to assure the availability and accessibility of basic primary and preventive health care services to all residents of the service area. At United Medical Centers, no one is turned away for the inability to pay. Patients benefiting from UMCs services may pay on a sliding fee scale based on federal poverty level guidelines that are updated every year.

UMC Provides Health care services to low moderate income familes who are residents of three Texas counties in or appoximate to the Texas-Mexico border. Services are provided at a low cost and are based on ability to pay basis. UMC outpatient encounters were 111,698. Services provided to our patients include family medicine,family planning, internal medicine, pediatrics,podiatry, radiology, and women's health.

UMC operates full-service dental clinics in Eagle Pass and Del Rio. The Clinic is equipped with both conventional and panographic x-ray units. Our dental clinic offers crucial preventive care for adults and children, helping to prevent oral health emergencies and thus minimize the need for emergency room visits and expensive restorative care among our patients.

UMC is proud to have an active pharmacy and outreach program, with a staff of pharmacists and pharmacy techs working hard to bring effective and affordable medications to our patients. Services provided by our pharmacy include pharmaceutical counseling, drug information/education,and a wide selection of pharamaceuticals at competitive prices.
