AN ADDITIONAL $18,107 WAS EXPENDED FOR A HYDRAULIC BREACHING TOOL WHICH WAS CAPITALIZED.PROVIDED TRAINING FOR OFFICERS IN EXPLOSIVE BREACHING, EXPLOSIVE THEORY AND PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF EXPLOSIVES IN REAL WORLD SITUATIONS TO UTILIZE THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF EXPLOSIVES TO EFFECT A POSITIVE ENTRY INTO A LOCATION DURING A HIGH RISK INCIDENT. TRAINING ALLOWS CERTIFIED SWAT OFFICERS TO TRAIN OTHER REGIONAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL TACTICAL TEAMS. SHARING AND EXCHANGING KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCES, AND IDEAS WITH THESE TEAMS HAS IMPOVED EVERYONE'S SKILLS, TACTICS, EQUIPMENT, AND TECHNIQUES.
