IMAGINATION FORT WORTH CRAFTS RESEARCH BASED, OUTCOME DRIVEN PROGRAMMING, INCLUDES FIELD TRIPS, IN-SCHOOL AND AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR A DIVERSE POPULATION OF LEARNERS; MORE THAN 80% ARE DESIGNATED AS ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED. IN 2019-2020, WE PROVIDED MORE THAN 42,000 STUDENT EXPERIENCES IN 20 PROGRAMS INCLUDING: WELCOME BACK TO THE FORT - A STUDY OF COMMUNITY; INVENTION CONVENTION; PHOTOGRAPHY IN FLIGHT; TEXAS ACADEMY OF FIGURATIVE ARTS SUMMER TEEN ACADEMY; ECO ART. IFW PRODUCED DIGITAL CURRICULUM GUIDES FOR MOST PROGRAMS. VALUE OF DONATED MUSEUM ENTRANCE FEES AND VOLUNTEERS WAS $57,269; FT WORTH ISD PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION VALUED AT $33,745; CIVIC ORGANIZATION PROVIDED FACILITIES VALUED AT $6,200. WITH COVID -19 UPON US, WE NIMBLY AND SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITIONED OUR PROGRAMS TO VIRTUAL OFFERINGS SUPPORTED WITH SUPPLY KITS. ONE POSITIVE OUTCOME OF THIS FORCED CHANGE INCLUDES THE EXPANSION OF OUR PROGRAM REACH. WE ARE MARKETING PROGRAMS THROUGH CONNECT2TEXAS, AND ARE NOW SERVING STUDENTS AND THEIR EDUCATORS IN 15 STATES ACROSS THE USA, AND EVEN IN BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA.

DEAF PROGRAM: EVEN THE STATEWIDE SPECIAL WEEKEND FOR THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING PROGRAM WENT VIRTUAL. (INITIATED IN 1990, THIS UNIQUE PROGRAM HISTORICALLY BRINGS 300-500 DEAF AND HARD-OF-HEARING STUDENTS AND THEIR TEACHERS AND SUPPORT STAFF, TO FORT WORTH TO EXPERIENCE TWO DAYS OF PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS BY VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTISTS WHO ARE DEAF AND HAVE ACHIEVED MAJOR RECOGNITION FOR THEIR TALENT IN BOTH THE DEAF AND HEARING WORLD. THIS PROGRAM CONNECTS SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL LEARNING THROUGH THE ARTS FOR STUDENTS WHO RARELY RECEIVE SUCH EXPERIENCES). STUDENTS FROM OVER 30 COUNTIES THROUGHOUT TEXAS PARTICIPATED IN 2019 - 2020.
