Organizations Filed Purposes:
Renewal Centers - In Cambodia, we affect change through our leadership training, community outreaches and anti human trafficking efforts. In 2019, around 220 leaders were trained in our training institute. Community outreaches continued to around 20 communities including two HIV villages. Micro enterprise opportunities were also initiated. There is also the ongoing educational sponsorships that provides monthly assistance to around 120 children in order for them to attend school not to mention ongoing weekly children programs. A dormitory for university students, youth activities, and music classes have also been initiated for the youth. Feeding programs every Sunday and periodic distribution of rice are also undertaken to help elevate the physical needs of the people. Continued on Schedule O.
Selah Safe Houses - Our first safe house for children that were enslaved for forced sex and labor began in the capital city of Phnom Penh in 2011. We care for a total of 21 children that are provided, protected and cared for in safe house in Cambodia. Subsequently, a similar facility was initiated in 2015 in Indonesia. Ten girls are cared for in that home. There are 8 total members of staff that are on-site and work tirelessly to ensure the safety and growth of the children. These roles include one House Manager, Counselors, Social Worker, and Regional Manager. We also have an outreach to a brothel village in Indonesia where we have established an educational center, a womens program and a mens fellowship.
Ministry Trips - Global Renewals headquarters are facilitated and operated out of Frisco, TX, USA. However, the satellite offices where the work is being executed are located in Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Singapore. Ministry trips are vital to maintenance and growth of operation and progress established within the individual countries. In 2019, two founders and 30 volunteers made 9 ministry trips to ensure quality control and to assist in operations in satellite offices.
