THIS ACTIVITY INCLUDES BUILDING 6 NEW HOMES,REPAIRING 84 HOMES DAMAGED BY HURRICANE HARVEY, REHABILITATING AND PRESERVING 104 RESIDENTAIL PROPERTIES AND OPERATING 365 RENTAL UNITS AT 4 APARTMENT COMPLEXES AND 33 RENTAL HOUSES.

COMMINITY INITIATIVES PROGRAM SERVICES- SUPPORT COMMUNITY BUILDING AND ENGAGEMENT: PROMOTED CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, CULTIVATED RESIDENT LEADERSHIP AND BROUGHT NEIGHBORS TOGETHER TO ADVOCATE FOR COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENTS. BY ENGAGING RESIDENTS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, BUSINESSES AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS, AVENUE HELPED RESIDENTS INCREASE PUBLIC SAFETY,BEAUTIFY THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS, PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLNESS,IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES, SUPPORT LOCAL ARTS AND CULTURE AND MORE.
