Organizations Filed Purposes:
The primary purpose of the Guild is the sanctification of its members under the patronage of the Immaculate Heart of Mary principally through the practice of the spiritual and corporal works of mercy and practice of charity by providing financial support to organizations in the Greater Houston area that assist all children in need, regardless of race or creed.
The Guild's mission is the sanctification of its members and the practice of charity by rendering assistance to non-profit organizations which serve low income children in the Greater Houston area.
The Charity Guild is comprised of members who fulfill specific service requirements with respect to the purposes and activities of the Guild. The Charity Guild Shop, staffed almost entirely by volunteers, provides consignment-for-sale and donation opportunities to individuals. The funds raised in the shop along with contributions sustain the organization and provide for grants to non-profit organizations that serve low income children. In fiscal year 2019-2020, the guild provided $485,701 in grants for children's charities.
