Youth Ambassador Leadership Program (Y.A.L.E.) is a student-led organization designed to promote countywide leadership opprotunities for students to be actively involved with planning and inplementing community initiatives. Y.A.L.E. links high school students in grades 9th thru 12th throughtout Fort Bend County and surrounding counties to various activities related to character education, diversity, leadership, service learning, and college and career readiness. Y.A.L.E. mambers present conferences and serves as youth leaders at FLCRC events. The Youth leaders attend monthly meetings and play a key role in planning, developing and administering FLCRC programs and service events.
GRIT... FLCRC's Finding Your GRIT program motivate and assist student with healing through action. FLCRC support youth crime victims who are experiencing the negative impacts of victimization. FLCRC provides a holistic approach by working through barriers to assist young crime victims when the schools are closed. Weekends, holidays and the long summer months are targeted times that FLCRC connect with our youth crime victims. FLCRC aim is to reduce family violence and violence against youth through outreach, advocacy, and empowerment.
