Good Samaritan Foundation (GSF) is a fundraising and grant-making organization dedicated solely to Texas nursing. Its mission is to increase the number of nurses dedicated to clinical care and to improve the quality of nurse education and training.

Grants to Colleges of Nursing and other organizations: GSF Foundation granted $30,000 to University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing for Continuing Nursing Education. GSF also granted The University of Houston $30,000 to assist in providing 2 full scholarships for MSN Students with science degrees in nursing with a focus on Gerontology.
Good Samaritan Endowment, Inc. (the Endowment) was formed in 2004 and operates primarily for the benefit of the Foundation. The Endowment has a board of directors separate from and not controlled by the Foundation.
