Organizations Filed Purposes:
Enhancement of education of all students. HAASBE is particularly sensitive to the needs and interest of the Black community including students and educators. Using the HAASBE network, members can share and provide many valuable professional services and intervention strategies focused on improving the educational environment and achievement of black youth in our homes, schools and communities.
Annual Teacher Awards and Recognition Event- Program for teachers in school districts of the Houston area where teachers are recognized and honored for their work with students.
Scholarships-Awarded 2 scholarships to deserving students
Paid membership dues to the Texas and National Association of Black School Educators and participate in HAASBE/TASBE annual conferences.
