Houston Golf Association exists to make a difference in the Houston community and its youth through golf and charity.
The Junior Golf program provides boys and girls ages 12-18 a place to compete and grow in the game of golf. In 2019, the program attracted 233 members to compete in 19 tournaments across 13 facilities in Houston's vast golfing landscape at affordable prices. The program provided opportunity for junior members to play approximately 550 rounds of golf, recognized the top junior players in each age division at an awards banquet, and hosted a City Junior Championship.
The Amateur Golf program provides men and women an opportunity to compete in two city championships in the Houston area. In 2019, 554 members participated in 10 qualifiers with advancement to a City Championship and a Senior City Championship.
