The I Am Waters Foundation is dedicated to providing fresh, clean water to the homeless. Our goal is to enrich the lives of Americas homeless by providing clean bottled water, delivered with a daily, inspirational message of hope, and love.
Water Program: Since its 2010 inception I Am Waters Foundation (IAW) has provided a one of a kind program that provides a bottle of water with a word of Hope, Peace, Dream and Love; Physical and Spiritual hydration for America's homeless. A hybrid qualitative and quantitative study was conducted in 2016, "When Water Meets a Higher Need: A Study of an Unprecedented Mission," in order to assess the impact and efficacy of IAW's program. The study is the only literature about the water needs of the domestic homeless. I Am Waters program is the first line of defense against heat related injuries and death over the hottest months of the summer and the word serves as a much needed reminder not to give up hoping for a better day. The ultimate goal is to reintegrate the many hundreds of thousands of homeless back into society and get them working toward a sustainable, domiciled life. I Am Waters Goal has been recognized by the homeless and the our designated service care partners as one of the most crucial program to all homeless people regardless of race, gender, color, or socio-economic background. Water and love are the most basic necessities for a human beings and it is our opinion that a person ultimately thrives or fails by their own choices. Empowering one homeless man, woman, child, veteran or family at a time and the pets that some times accompany them is I Am Waters Dream. There is a lot wrong in the world and I Am Waters and I Am Jobs has set out to do one perfect thing. No one should want for water, inspiration or a job.
When a person is ready, job placement becomes a crucial step to self-sufficiency and ending homelessness. I Am Jobs (IAJ) offers a hot-line (phone number) that is also inscribed on the bottle for the homeless to call for work. IAJ staff then assesses the individual and enters them in a database where an IAW&IAJ aligns them with a corporate relationship that we have developed in various fields for job opportunities. Everything from Food Service, Hospitality, Labor, and Certified Nurses Assistance.
