This conference is committed to providing and promoting educational opportunities in marine and energy insurance and admiralty law fields. Additionally, Marine Insurance Seminars supports college and university partners who are educating and developing the marine and energy insurance and law professionals of the future.
To provide education in the fields of marine and energy insurance and law by offering continuing education for professionals and by supporting colleges and universities who are developing the marine and energy professionals of the future.
For over 50 years, the HMEIC conference has attracted the top talent in the marine and energy insurance and admiralty law industries and has become the preeminent meeting place for the global marine and energy insurance and legal communities. Held annually in Houston, Texas, the world's leading energy hub and an essential port for global shipping, the annual 3-day conference offers networking opportunities, continuing education requirements and keynote speeches that attract a wide array of marine and energy industry professionals. Due to the worldwide pandemic, the 2020 conference could not be held in person, but alternatively, several topical online lectures were offered.
Marine Insurance Seminars is committed to providing and promoting educational opportunities in the marine and energy insurance and admiralty law fields. This is accomplished by providing college and university partners with grants to support their education programs in those areas.
