Organizations Filed Purposes: To encourage and provide opportunities for youth and the community through scholarship, training, and educational enhancement that facilitate healthy life choices and community development. We accomplish this mission through advocating equal access, victim services, training, educational enhancement, and integrity.

The Parris Foundation (TPF) a community-based organization committed to providing free services to encourage personal, academic and professional growth to disenfranchised populations. We provide counseling, education and wellness programs to the community.

Educational Services Program - Provides educational support to first-generation, low-income, and disproportionately represented populations in higher education. These services include: assistance in completing college admission and financial aid applications; assistance in preparing for college entrance examinations, guidance on and assistance in secondary school reentry, entry to general educational development (GED) programs, other alternative education programs for secondary school dropouts, or postsecondary education; career exploration and job-shadowing where students are exposed to careers requiring a postsecondary degree; and credit recovery alternative programs allowing high school students to recover course credits from classes they have missed or failed. 586 students were served through this program.

Crime Victim Services - Provides assistance with crime victim's compensation, information and referral, crises intervention, individual and group counseling, assistance with victim impact panels and statements, and crime victim follow-up and advocacy. Three hundred and one victims were served through this program. From September 1, 2018 to August 31, 2019, one thousand and five hundred ninety-seven hours of counseling sessions were donated by six volunteer graduate counseling interns. The fair market value of these donated services is approximately $39,933.

Scholarship & Educational Funding Program - awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors for up to 4 years of undergraduate study for any recipient who maintains a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Four recipients received a scholarship from this program.
