Organizations Filed Purposes:
Project GRAD was founded on a vision of equity that ALL youth deserve access to an education that leads to a rewarding future. GRADs work is driven by the belief that all individuals, regardless of background, can improve their lives when they gain access to the guidance, resources, and ongoing support needed to develop and achieve their goals for post-secondary attainment or workforce training.
Project GRAD improves lives in communities of low-income by helping individuals get into and through college or career training.
College & Career programming: Project GRAD reached individuals and families from low-income communities withrelevant information and programming to guide their college and career planning andultimate success. GRAD advising staff are accessed through school based collaborations and through GRADs open access, community-based delivery of services, the GRADCAFE model. Programming includes college access and enrollment support, financial aid applications, career investigations. GRAD serves traditional students from K-12 and college and youth and young adults who are disconnected from school and work (Opportunity Youth).
Scholarships: Project GRAD provided community college and university scholarships for the benefit of students who met specified criteria prior to graduation from high school and who maintain specified levels of achievement while enrolled in community college or university.
