The mission of Row House Community Development Corporation (RHCDC) is to develop housing for low to moderate income residents; create public spaces and facilities; and preserve and protect the historic character of the Third Ward.

Row House Community Development Corporation (RHCDC) has developed, acquired andrenovated 35 single-family dwellings for low income rentals. During 09/10 RHCDCcompleted construction on the Anita Street Project, eight units of affordable housing located in one of the poorest areas of the Third Ward, the "bottoms". RHCDC completed construction of the Napoleon Street Project, twenty-two additional units of affordable housing across from the Anita Project site. RHCDC residents are an important part of creating a safe environment and a sense of community. This is accomplished through each resident's commitment to community-building activities and initiatives. To assist in this area, RHCDC has formed a Residents Council to enable the residents' active participation in all aspects of the community.
