In 2018 the focus was on Hurricane Harvey recovery in Rosharon, Brazoria County, Texas. 22 homes rebuilt, 61 Greenhouses repaired, 225 homes supplied with appliances & furniture. 80000 voluntary hours enrolled.California Cap Fire Relief & rehabilitation- 232 beneficiaries, 134 volunteers involved, 7 partnering organization and over 100K raised and spent on the relief work
SEWA through 6 different programs in USA and India is assisting in education and child welfare programs. Aspire Tutorials is one such program conducted in Houston, Cleveland, Atlanta to help 5 centers serving 5 schools, 160 students, 40 volunteers, 3500 volunteer hours, 30 programming hours per week and helping students from Grade 1 to 8. Cleveland Aspire program is also helping High School Athletes to improve their Grades in schoolwork while excelling in sports.
