In 2019 Shaggy Dog Rescue took in over two hundred dogs from local and Texas shelters. Many of these dogs were in very poor condition, in need of orthopedic surgery; heartworm treatment; and, mange treatment. Shaggy Dog Rescue adopted out over two hundred dogs and have several still obtaining long-term care.
