The mission of SIRE is to improve the quality of life for people with special needs through therapeutic horsemanship activities and therapies, and educational outreach
A total of 5800 service hours were provided to 352 unique clients through our weekly riding program, the competition program, and Equine-Assisted Learning program. The COVID-19 pandemic reduced the services for this year. Special Olympics competitions were cancelled.
Professional education and training for instructors, staff and volunteers. Participants include those external to SIRE, as well as internal. A major goal of this program is to develop PATH certified instructors.
