Empowering grassroots NGOs to address issues of forced migration across India (funded by Freedom Fund): Working with young leaders of grassroots NGOs in key states like West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Odisha to help address issues of forces migration and human trafficking by helping them understand and being a policy argument for themselves. Helped connect them to national policy leaders and bring to the forefront key issues of human trafficking on the Parliament floor.
Training grassroots women entrepreneurs in effectively using social media to increase income levels (funded by US State Department): Working with young women entrepreneurs in North India who come from marginalized communities to build their skills on using social media tools like Facebook and Instagram so that they can sell their products like Bangles and ethnic wear online. The program was intended to help increase income levels for each of these entrepreneurs.
