TO ENCOURAGE PATRIOTISM
Texas Society Sons of the American Revolution (The Society) recognizes and promotes expressions and acts of patriotism. The Society sponsors essay competitions, oral competitions, American History teacher competitions, Eagle Scout competitions, JROTC competitions and poster contest in Texas schools related to patriotism for the United States of America. The society also recognizes individual achievements and patriotic service with the presentation of medals and awards. The Society holds an annual state convention where awards and medals are presented and essay finalists are recognized. A Newsletter is published for informing members of the activities and achievements.
