Organizations Filed Purposes:
Undies for Everyone enhances the self-esteem, dignity, hygiene and success of disadvantaged students by providing them with underwear.
In 2019, Undies for Everyone distributed over 400,000 pairs of underwear to 300,000 students in Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Fort Worth. Undies for Everyone partnered with school nurses, school district homeless departments, CPS organizations, food banks, and childrens hospital mobile clinics to serve the students most in need in our communities. Undies for Everyone is currently providing disadvantaged children in Texas with new underwear and beginning in 2021 will bring a weeks worth of underwear to disadvantaged children around the country. All Undies recipients live below the poverty line and are between the ages of 3 and 14. Over 60 of recipients are Hispanic, 25 are African American, White, Asian, and Pacific Islander make up the remainder of the ethnic breakdown.
