- Educational Programs The Educational program provides underserved Hispanic women holistic health and wellness education and skills for economic growth through custom-tailored programs that are taught in low-income Hispanic schools where participants have their children enrolled. Our educational platform comprises the following classes: health and wellness, English, computer skills, personal finances, self-esteem and leadership, artisan skills and entrepreneurship. The objective of each educational program is to empower participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to improve their own and their families quality of life. Each program is tailored to serve the needs of the group based on a preliminary assessment. Program results are quantitatively and qualitative tracked.
- The Educational Workshops are initiatives that complement our 8-week educational program. Are also offered to new schools if requested. The usual duration for one workshop is 6 weeks and may consist in one or more subject. The educational workshops are based on the Wellness for Growth Foundations comprehensive and practical educational platform. The workshops have been successfully implemented since 2017. Participants attend and finish the workshops with the necessary knowledge and tools to be used on daily base, helping their children with their homework or to be applied in their work.
-Bazaars are income-generating opportunities for our current and former program beneficiaries, which allow participants to put into practice leadership, financial, entrepreneurship and artisan skills learned throughout the educational programs. They are in charge of the decision-making process and planning to sell their handmade products at the bazaars and get a first-hand taste of what it takes to be a small entrepreneur. Bazaar attendance ranges from 100 to 10,000 people depending on the selected events. Since 2014 all the program participants had the opportunity to participate in real life business experience.
