To encourage the development of life skills, creative arts, multi-media, academic excellence and promote higher education for all students yet placing emphasis on at risk youth
Yancy Life Transition Center provided quality tutorial instruction to over 4675 students at 28 schools. We also provided Family Literacy programs that taught parents how to teach their students at home. These literacy programs serviced over 300 attendees across 7 campuses. We also trained 40 HISD district employees in the areas of team building and community engagement.
