Organizations Filed Purposes:
Healing with Horses Ranch will provide EAAT including, but not limited to, therapeutic horsemanship to help people from all backgrounds and all walks of life in a variety of ways, including increasing strength and flexibility, improving motor skills, promoting speech and cognitive reasoning, and building relationships and social skills.
Healing with Horses Ranch has increased the numbers served by over 50% in 201 to 32+ clients served each week. HH Ranch has increased services to include the families of our at-risk youth to encourage family engagement with the addition of a mental health specialist. We have increased staff to include a full time volunteer coordinator, a full time and 1 part time PATH Intl riding instructor and a part time Ranch Operations Manager in addition to the Executive Director who spends half of her time in the arena. We have increased our clientele collaboration with Agencies such as Austin Travis County Integral Care, Disabilities Services of the South West, and Touch of Class. We have increased our volunteer basis by training over 100 new volunteers in 2016 and had over 7500 volunteer hours documented.
