OPERATE A COMMUNITY LIBRARY The Library's mission is "to provide access to the world of ideas and encourage life-long learning".
The Medina Community Library has 3068 patrons. They checked out 5881 books, 2304 DVDs, 799 magazines and 280 Interlibrary Loans. On average we had 30 adult programs a month and 8 programs a month for the youth. In 2019 we had 46,123 visitors to our library.
The Capital Campaign for the new library annex building has continued with success of public, individual companies and corporation funding. Construction started early 2018 with architectural services, engineering company and during 2019 all construction continued. We have so many programs, learning classes, exercises classes, club meetings and community events and we are looking forward to the additional area.
