THE LIFE CENTER'S MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES CENTER ON PREVENTION EDUCATION, INTERVENTION AND RESTORATION. PREVENTION EDUCATION OFFERS IN-DEPTH SEXUAL INTEGRITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS ABSOLUTELY FREE FOR GRADES 4-12. THE EDUCATION PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED, FREE OF CHARGE, AT PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT WEST TEXAS SINCE 1998. STUDENTS ARE EMPOWERED AND EQUIPPED STARTING IN GRADE 4 BY INTRODUCING HOW TO MAKE HEALTHY CHOICES IN RELATIONSHIPS. THESE FOUNDATIONAL CHARACTER BUILDING TOOLS ARE TAUGHT THROUGH INTERACTIVE GAMES, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND PARENT/GUARDIAN PARTICIPATION. THE 5TH-12TH GRADE PROGRAMS ARE MEDICALLY ACCURATE, FACT-DRIVEN AND CHARACTER BASED, MULTI-MEDIA PRESENTATIONS, UTILIZING INTERACTIVE LEARNING TECHNIQUES, EQUIPPING STUDENTS TO MAKE POSITIVE DECISIONS REGARDING THEIR SEXUAL HEALTH AND RELATIONSHIPS. THE PROGRAMS REACH OVER 30,000 STUDENTS YEARLY.INTERVENTION PROGRAMS OFFER COMPASSIONATE, CONFIDENTIAL CONSULTATIONS FOR WOMEN AND MEN FACING AN UNEXPECTE

THE LIFE CENTER'S INTERVENTION DEPARTMENT OFFERS COMPASSIONATE, CONFIDENTIAL CONSULTATIONS FOR WOMEN AND MEN EXPERIENCING AN UNEXPECTED PREGNANCY. A TRAINED ADVOCATE ASSISTS THE INDIVIDUAL OR COUPLE THROUGH A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL COMPONENTS THAT INCLUDE MEDICAL HELP, NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE, PRENATAL DEVELOPMENT AND MANY OTHER RESOURCES SUPPORTING A LIFE-AFFIRMING CHOICE THROUGH THE PREGNANCY AND BEYOND. THE PRENATAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS ARE TEN WEEK PROGRAMS OFFERED AT ALL CENTERS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. CLASS MEMBER ATTENDANCE AVERAGES 18-30 MOMS AND DADS WITH CONTINUING ONE ON ONE PARENT EDUCATION THROUGH THE CHILD'S 5TH BIRTHDAY. THE INTERVENTION SERVICES REACH OVER 1800 INDIVIDUAL MOTHERS AND FATHERS ANNUALLY AND AVERAGE 4200 APPOINTMENTS FOR RETURN VISITS. OF THE PREGNANT CLIENTS, EIGHTY PERCENT OF MOTHERS CONSIDERING ABORTION CHANGE THEIR MINDS TO PARENT OR CONSIDER ADOPTION. LIMITED OBSTETRICAL ULTRASOUND EXAMS ARE PERFORMED MONTHLY. THESE SERVICES ARE PART OF THE PREGNANCY EDUCATION FOCUS TO DETERMINE FETAL VIABILITY, RECOGNITION AND UNDERSTANDING OF HUMAN LIFE AT CONCEPTION AND MATERNAL CONNECTION. OVER 23 LIMITED OBSTETRICAL ULTRASOUNDS ARE PERFORMED MONTHLY AT EACH LOCATION.

THE PREVENTION EDUCATION DEPARTMENT OFFERS IN-DEPTH SEXUAL INTEGRITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS, WITHOUT CHARGE, FOR GRADES 4 THROUGH 12. INCLUDED WITH THE SCHOOL EDUCATION PROGRAMS ARE PARENT/TEACHER PROGRAMS THAT HAVE BEEN PRESENTED AT PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS, FREE OF CHARGE, THROUGHOUT WEST TEXAS SINCE 1998. THE EDUCATION PROGRAMS TEACH OVER 30,000 STUDENTS ANNUALLY. THE PROGRAMS INCLUDE PRE AND POST TESTING MEASURING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF KEY CONCEPTS OF HEALTH FACTS INCLUDING STD/STI'S, ABSTINENCE, CONTRACEPTION, AND BUILDING HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS.

THE LIFE CENTER'S GOAL THROUGH THE RESTORATION DEPARTMENT IS TO RESTORE LIVES. THROUGH PRACTICAL EDUCATIONAL TOOLS COMBINED WITH SPIRITUAL SUPPORT BASED ON BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES, CLASSES, SUPPORT GROUPS, AND ONE TO ONE CONSULTATIONS OFFER INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES A PLATFORM TO BEGIN THEIR JOURNEY TOWARD WHOLENESS. CLIENTS VISITING THE CENTER ARE OFFERED OPPORTUNITIES TO REQUEST PRAYER FROM A RESTORATION PRAYER MENTOR. THE DEPARTMENT AVERAGES OVER 100 CLIENTS MONTHLY REQUESTING PRAYER SUPPORT AND ARE OFFERED SUPPORT PROGRAMS TO FACILITATE CONTINUED HEALING. THE TEEN MOM MENTOR PROGRAM, M.A.R.Y. MENTOR PROGRAM (MOTHERING AS RESPONSIBLE YOUTH), IMPACTS OVER 45 YOUNG MOTHERS 13-19, ANNUALLY. THE FAITH-BASED AND LIFE-SKILL OUTREACH COLLABORATES WITH LOCAL ISD'S AND CHURCHES TO EQUIP AND EMPOWER YOUNG MOTHERS TO MAKE POSITIVE DECISIONS FOR LIFE AND RELATIONSHIPS. ALL PROGRAMS AND MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.
