Organizations Filed Purposes:
Empower people both in the States and abroad to further the Gospel. We support an organization in Ethiopia (named Carry 117) that provides dignifying jobs for women in extreme poverty in order to keep their families in tact. These women earn a fair wage by making handicrafts (jewelry and textile products such as purses, wallets, etc.). We purchase those goods and sell them for retail in the States. We also send mission teams multiple times a year to volunteer with this group and others in the region. All proceeds go into purchasing supplies and empowering as many women abroad as financially possible.
Sent a team of about 15 people to Ethiopia to volunteer and support those that are making the products we sell. Also volunteered at other organizations in the area that are primarily focus on orphan care and prevention. Expenses paid toward Mission Trips = $55,085
The bulk of funds go into the purchase of product from Ethiopia that is sold for retail in the States. Funds are used to purchase supplies for these products and empowers about 20 women and staff in Ethiopia by providing a dignified job at a fair wage. Carry 117 is the organization in Ethiopia that we partner with. Expenses paid to Product Sales = $104,283.
