Camp Allen Camp and Conference Center is a modern year-round facility located one hour northwest of Houston. The lodging and conference center are located in a beautiful pine forest with rolling hills and two lakes. Camp Allen accommodates a variety of spiritual and educational events for all ages. Our experienced management team share a passion for service and Christian hospitality. Camp Allen is a leader in the Camp, Conference and Retreat Center ministry. The Camp covers more than 1,100 acres and includes a conference center and camp facilities. Over 48,000 attended a variety of programs on music, art, spiritual, leadership, and family retreats. Over 15 universities, 230 churches, and 130 other non-profits attended these programs in 2019.
The Summer Camp program covers ages 3rd grade to high school. These programs are one week summer camp sessions. During 2019, over 1963 campers attended the programs from all over the State of Texas. The program has outdoor activities, enrichment programs, spiritual programs and leadership training.
The Discovery Outdoor Education program was established in 2000, and now accommodates over 7500 school children per year. The students come to Camp Allen with the teachers and have various educational tracks from Texas Living History to Aquatics to Challenge Courses. Approximately 1/4 of the attendees are attending the program from economically disadvantaged schools. Camp Allen has 7 full time instructors for this program along with class room space designated.
