Texas Brigades hosted 7 summer camps this past year for approximately 200 youths, ages 13-17, and then works with them throughout the year to encourage development and use of life skills (e.g. leadership, public speaking) and dissemination of wildlife and natural resource management information. Texas Brigades offers college scholarships to graduates who actively disseminate natural resources information and subsequently enroll in an institution of higher education. Texas Brigades educated additional youths by offering its advanced leadership development program (W.I.L.D.), for ages 18-23, as well as one-day Experiences, for ages 9-17.
