EDUCATION SERVICES: THE HEADWATERS AT THE COMAL HOSTS A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF ALL AGES. TOPICS INCLUDE ARCHAEOLOGY, NATIVE PLANTS, ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION, NATIVE WILDLIFE AND A CHILDREN'S SCIENCE SERIES. A TOTAL OF 3,041 PEOPLE VISITED THE HEADWATERS AT THE COMAL IN 2019 AND PARTICIPATED IN A TOTAL OF 88 TOURS, EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS. THE GOAL OF OUR PROGRAMS IS TO INSPIRE HEARTS AND MINDS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF CONSERVATION TO COMMUNITY THROUGH OUR EDUCATION OFFERINGS.
