Of the families served, 97% are categorized as "extremely poor", 30% are elderly or disabled, some are homeless and some are grand parents or other family members raising children. The Mission serves an eleven zip code area that covers more than 800 square miles of East Montgomery County, Northeast Harris County, and part of Liberty County, Texas.

Mission Northeast, Inc. ("The Mission") is a faith based social services agency with the goal of transforming our community, one life at a time, through the love of Jesus Christ. The Mission provides for basic needs, including, food, clothing, basic household items, hygiene and cleaning supplies, transportation, adult education, job training, financial assistance for utilities, minor home repairs and medications for those in need, including the elderly and disabled, and daily chapel services, at no cost and without consideration of age, race, sex, ethnicity, religious preference or sexual orientation.

Distribution of food, clothing, housewares, furnishings and financial assistance for utilities, minor home repairs and medications for those in need. These services include monthly home delivery of food and other assistance for senior and disabled persons, the "Wheels and a Way to Work" program which provides assistance with gas cards and vehicle repairs so that adult students can get to classes and job training and newly employed persons have a way to get to work, and the Safe Haven Ministry which helps families who live in unsafe environments by assisting with home repairs, yard clean up, wheelchair ramps, utilities, and more. Care Partners are provided to each client family to carefully listen and consider their need and the resources available to them.

Adult education, including "GED and "english as a second language" classes onsite and job training through classes at a local community college.
