The Mission of the Carson County Square House Museum is to provide the highest possible level of museum experience through the collection, care, exhibition interpretation and demonstration
Collection Management - The museum maintains a substantial collection of artifacts which pertain to the local Texas Panhandle area. Registration and maintenance expenses are necessary to manage and maintain the condition of these items.
Education - The museum has various classes for children, including summer youth arets and line camp. In addition, tours are available throughout the year to area schools. Upon request, there is a traveling educational program utilization trunks of historical area artifcats and information.
Exhibition - The museum conducts tours throughout the year for area schools as well as for other local community groups and private citizens. The museum is open seven days a week for viewing by the general public.
