THE BEST OF PLANO EVENT IS THE PLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S ANNUALTOP BUSINESS AWARD CELEBRATION. THE EVENT HONORS THE CITY'S TOPLEADERS FOR THEIR SERVICE AND DEDICATION TO THEIR BUSINESS ANDCOMMUNITY. WINNERS OF THE ATHENA AWARD, SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEARAWARD, OUTSTANDING CORPORATE CITIZEN, AND THE BUSINESS EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR AWARD ARE HONORED AT THE EVENT.

THE PLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S WOMEN'S DIVISION PROGRAM WASCREATED TO EMPOWER WOMEN THROUGH ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, ANDNETWORKING. ITS PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE WOMEN IN BUSINESS THROUGHNETWORKING, EDUCATIONAL LUNCHEONS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTPROGRAMS. IN HARMONY WITH THE CHAMBER'S MISSION THE PLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE STRIVES TO ACT AS ROLE MODELS, EDUCATORS, AND MENTORS TO WOMEN. THE PLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PROVIDES A PLATFORM TO SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE WOMEN IN BUSINESS AND TO PROVIDE A VOICE WITHIN THE CHAMBER FOR WOMEN'S BUSINESS ISSUES.
