Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Association was organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes to encourage and promote the breeding, raising, and marketing of better livestock and farm products by the exhibition of livestock and farm products at public fairs and hold the Fort Bend County Annual Fair which benefits youth, agriculture and supports education.
The Fort Bend County Fair, founded in 1933, has grown into one of the largest, most successful Fairs in Texas. Youth education has been a primary focus of Fair activities. The scholarship program offers FBC students scholarships to Texas colleges and universities.
The Association plans and conducts the Fort Bend County Fair and Livestock Show, as well as other events throughout the year.The Association supports the education of the youth of Fort Bend County, TX in conjunction with local 4-H, FHA and FFA organizations in agriculture, animal raising and breeding and agricultural techniques.
