Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to prevent abortion by offering women the the information and emotional, spirtual and physical support that that will empower them to choose life for their child.
Client Advocacy Program (CAP). Peer counseling and free pregnacy tests to offer women information referrals, emotional and spirtual support to help them cope with their pregnacy. Trained volunteers and staff listen to our clients'concerns and offer a free pregnacy test. Information is offered reguarding fetal development, abortion and its risk, adoption and help available from both our own program and those of other helping agencies. We ask permission to contact them after their visit so that we can continue to express our concern for them and offer our help.
Learn, Earn and Plan (Leap). Classes are offered to pregnant women and those with young infants. Participants earn vouchers by attending classes, doing homework, etc. and are able to use their vouchers to "purchase' baby items in the "Mommy Store". Classes are offered on topics such as nurition, breast feeding, infant care, bible study and sexual integrity.
Medical - limited obstetrical ultrasounds are offered to our pregnant clients. The moms are shown the development of their child in their womb.
