THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS ENUMERATED IN WEST LAW 21701 AND 21702. TO PROMOTE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRINCIPALS OF DEMOCRACY AND TO INCULCATE AMONG ALL PEOPLE A HIGHER APPRECIATION OF THE BENEFITS OF AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP. TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF ALL VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
SPONSORSHIPS:-Scout Troop 447-Boys State-Hosted and funded a community Haunted House Trunk or Treat with games,food and entertainment for the community-Hosted a fund raiser for a Austin police officer that had a life changing ATV accident, Tammy Barrett-Sponsored and hosted RuckFest, a community based activity to raise awareness and bring back the true meaning of Memorial Day. Community veterans,friends, family and all patriots endure a 22 mile hike around and through the city of Round Rock to promote the purpose of remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep America free. RuckFest is always held the Saturday before Memorial Day each year. Participants are encouraged to wear some weight on their backs and carry someone they lost in the fight to keep us free.-Provide cash and non-cash assistance for Veterans in need that meet an established set of guidelines-Own and provide the Remember the Fallen Wall, A traveling display of all fallen warriors from the war on terrorism.
