Organizations Filed Purposes:
Formed to promote and encourage community and area support for the Sachse High School Band Program, including Colorguard. To encourage and maintain the interest of the students in all phases of band and instrumental music. To lend support to Directors and Band Program.
Marching Band: Participating in the Marching Band program including the education of band students in new music and performance in a marching show. Shows were performed at many football games as well as 6 competitions. Program includes uniforms, props, program expenses, and other expenses to fund the marching band program.
Educational Trip: All Band and Guard members were offered the ability to attend a trip as an educational opportunity. Participants were able to attend cultural events and were scheduled to perform while there.
Colorguard: Program for the development of a colorguard that performs along with the marching band at all performances. Also, program has a winter component called Winterguard where participants compete at competitions as a group.
