Allied Women's Center operates a crisis pregnancy center to provide free pregnancy testing, factual information and knowledge, counseling and tangible assistance to pregnant teens/women and their babies.
Allied Women's Center has only one program to operate a crisis pregnancy center to provide free pregnancy testing, factual information and knowledge, counseling and tangible assistance to pregnant teens/women and their babies. This year from Jan 1-Dec 31, 2019: 481 client files were opened for pregnancy testing (336 positive) and 102 client files were opened for financial assistance. Clients are offered guidance in seeking/obtaining medical care, Medicaid, legal advice, and adoption. Based on client need, we also offer tangible assistance in the form of maternity/baby clothing (1,236units), diapers (41,426), wipes (68,461), formula (44units), breast pumps 15, baby furniture: strollers 30/play pens 16/swings 20/layettes 37/car-seats 62/highchairs 14/walkers 16/cribs 18/miscellaneous & other baby accessories 46. Temporary housing is offered in a family setting through Shepherding Homes. We saved 57 babies in 2019. Total Program expenses were taken from Part IX Col B line 25 and total contributed funds form Part VIII line 1h.
