SAN ANTONIO FATHERHOOD CAMPAIGN - THROUGH THIS INITIATIVE, OPPORTUNITIES ARE TASKED TO ENCOURAGE FATHERS TO BECOME ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF THEIR LIVES AS WELL AS THEIR CHILDREN. THIS CAMPAIGN IS SUPPORTED THROUGH A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT OF A COMMUNITY AND NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS OF FAMILY PROGRAMS THAT HAVE HELPED IN THE FOLLOWING, PROMOTE FATHERHOOD AND FAMILY PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE FOR CHILDREN, REFER FATHERS TO NETWORK WITH EACH OTHER IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH MENTORSHIP, AWARENESS TO PROMOTE A FATHER-CHILD RELATIONSHIP BUILDING, STRENGTHEN THE ROLE OF FATHERHOOD THROUGH ACTIVE PARTICIPATION.

COSA - DHS "RITES OF PASSAGE" THE AIT-SCM'S RITES OF PASSAGE PROGRAM (ROP) IS A CULTURALLY-ROOTED CHARACTER BUILDING PROGRAM THAT USES A POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT MODEL TO BOTH INCREASE PROTECTIVE FACTORS AND PREVENT HEALTH RISK BEHAVIORS AMONGST MALES 12-21 YEARS OF AGE. THE GOAL OF THE ROP IS TO ASSIST YOUNG MALES TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE SOCIAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF MANHOOD.
