THE SA READY PROGRAM HAS SERVED MORE THAN 10,000 INDIVIDUALS. THIS IS AN IN-SCHOOL CURRICULUM DEVELOPED IN PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN GENERATION TX SAN ANTONIO AND EDUCATIONAL POLICY IMPROVEMENT CENTER RESEARCH THAT IS ALIGNED WITH TEXAS COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS STANDARDS (TCCRS). GENTX SA HAS ORGANIZED A TASK FORCE OF CURRICULA SPECIALISTS AND EDUCATORS FROM FIVE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND CHALLENGED THEM TO DEVELOP AN INSTRUCTIONAL THREAD THAT HELPS STUDENTS ACQUIRE THE TCCRS, AS WELL AS DR. DAVID CONLEY'S FOUR KEY DIMENSIONS OF COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS.THE GRASSROOTS EVENTS (SEASONS OF COLLEGE) SERVED MORE THAN 2,000 INDIVIDUALS. THIS IS A THEMATIC EVENTS CALENDAR THAT FOCUSES ON THE SEASONAL ASPECTS OF COLLEGE AND CAREER-READINESS. THE CALENDAR FEATURES NINE UNIQUE THEMES THAT ADDRESS ALL ASPECTS OF THE COLLEGE CYCLE INCLUDING PLANNING AND RESEARCH, APPLICATIONS, FINANCIAL AID AND CAREER EXPLORATION. EACH EVENT IS HIGH-ENERGY, MEMORABLE AND FULL OF RICH COLLEGE ACCESS CONTENT. THE SEASONS OF COLLEGE EVENTS AIM TO INSPIRE AND INFORM SAN ANTONIO STUDENTS OF ALL AGES. STUDENTS WALK AWAY FROM EVENTS WITH ACTIONABLE INFORMATION THEY CAN USE TO ENSURE THEY ARE PREPARED TO ENTER COLLEGE.GENTXPERTS IS A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOLS AND GENERATION TX SAN ANTONIO DEDICATED TO USING PROVEN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PRINCIPALS TO ENHANCE COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS IN LOW-INCOME, TYPICALLY FIRST GENERATION STUDENTS.
