Through our unique resources and opportunities, we work to creatively engage young people to enrich their communities.
Silver Black Give Back is the non-profit partner of the Spurs Sports and Entertainment family of teams San Antonio Spurs NBA, San Antonio Stars WNBA, Rampage AHL,San Antonio FC USL and Austin Spurs G league. Since 1988, our players, coaches, and staff have been focused on fostering young talent and enriching the community by encouraging local youth to become responsible adults and give back. Silver Black Give Back donates Spurs, Stars, and Rampage tickets to underserved area youth, families, and charities. Cash grants are also provided to area non-profit organizations and scholarships to area students.
Silver Black Give Back supports youth sports programs which build positive character and provide physical activity for young people in the Greater San Antonio area. Since 1988, children and coaches have benefitted from programs such as the Spurs Youth Basketball League, Future Stars, JR Rampage, and Junior Austin Spurs.
The Team Up Challenge is a service-learning initiative which allows students to take what they are learning in the classroom and apply it to the real world, bringing education alive in powerful ways. Since 2010, Silver Black Give Back has provided cash grants to area schools and stipends to students and teachers who volunteer their time to improve our community.
